My fav workout stuff

One of my New Year's resolutions, like the rest of the world, is to be healthier. I've always worked out on and off but I'm trying to be more committed now. I thought it would be fun to do a post about my personal favorite workout stuff. I'm super frugal but when it comes to workout gear, I'm willing to splurge a little because it makes a big difference working out if you have quality clothes and shoes.

My favorite sports bra is this one from Aerie. For the longest time I just bought cheap ones from Target. I tried this one out and will never go back. I've noticed the biggest difference with comfort and support, especially when running.

For years when I was running, I would just wear my normal, everyday socks. The first time I wore socks specifically for running, I was able to go so much faster and longer. They help prevent blisters and wick sweat and create overall better comfort.  These are my most recent pair and I've really liked them.

When it comes to running shoes, I highly suggest going to a running store. An employee will watch you run on a treadmill and then recommend shoes for the way you run. I'm currently wearing these
Asics. The dude at the running store suggested them because my feet roll in when I run. These have support on the inner arch.

I just got these Puma workout pants. Omg I love them! They are SO comfortable and cute.

Aaaaand I had to get the matching tank.

I hope you're all having a great start to your New Year.

Marley's Baptism Pictures

Hey guys! I hope you all had a merry Christmas and a happy New Year's. My little Marley got baptized back in August and I've been meaning to post her pics in her white dress and haven't gotten around to it. It's 4 am and I can't sleep so no better time than now, right?

I can't believe how gorgeous this little girl is. And these pictures turned out so dreamy. Photo credit goes to the crazy-talented Angie McKreaken.

5 Pretty little stocking stuffers

Hey my peeps, it's been a minute since I've posted. Have you missed me? With Christmas just around the corner, I thought I'd give you all a list of my favorite things at the moment that are small enough to fit in a stocking and will score you major points points with all the ladies in your life. And if you know me personally and you're reading this, it's not too late to buy them for me, just sayin'.

1. Benefit's POREfessional face primer. This stuff makes my face feel sooo good. Ooh I just want to drink it. Your foundation will go on so good, you won't believe it.

2. Also from Benefit, the mini Hoola Bronzer. This bronzer looks good on literally every skin tone. I love that it comes in the travel size because it's half the price as the regular one and it lasts FOREVER. It's a matte powder so its perfect for contouring.

3. "All tied up" choker from Charming Charlies. This choker is only $8 and would be so cute to wear to your new year's eve party!

4. The cutest beanie from American Eagle. Snag this up while it's half off.

5. OPI Breakfast at Tiffany's 10 piece polish set. Although I'm a huge fan of gel polish, I always, always wear traditional polish on my tootsies. The colors in this kit are to die for.

If you need any last minute gifts for your wife, mom, sister, girlfriend, or best friend, you can't go wrong with any of these ideas. Happy shopping.
